Generally, yes. But will your client(s) accept ODP files? If not, you may find yourself in a difficult position without MS Office. You can export a presentation from OOo to MS PowerPoint format, but, as Samuel points, formatting issues may emerge and not all of them can be fixed with OOo: everything can look in OOo Impress perfect, but garbled in PowerPoint. You can verify if it’s OK with Microsoft’s freeware PowerPoint viewer.
