I have wide-ranging experience of semi-specialised translation from Portuguese, Spanish and French into English in the following areas: commercial; legal; technical; telecommunications; insurance; legislation; medical; general. I also have experience of editing and proofreading translations and collaborating on the production of foreign language publications. I read widely in the above languages to keep abreast of current usage. I am sensitive to idiom and register, and can promise accuracy and attention to detail in all translations undertaken.

One and a half years' in-house experience at the UK Department of Trade & Industry Translation Service. Two years' experience of public service and legal translation and interpreting with the Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking communities in London. Institute of Linguists (IOL) Diploma in Translation. Currently resident in Brazil.
