More than 20 years experience editing and translating

• Over 12 years active as freelance translator, with a focus on subtitling movies, operas and documentaries on classical music and ballet from German and English into Spanish (list of works upon request). I have also translated newspaper articles, research, academic and policy papers, as well as development aid reports and handbooks, newsletters, websites, CD booklets and other publications on fashion & lifestyle, design and architecture, etc.

• Worked ten years as in-house professional editor/proofreader in Spanish on a broad range of subjects such as issues facing civil society, development aid, the environment, politics, the economy, etc. (list of works upon request).

• I was born in Colombia and have lived in Spain, and am therefore able to deliver translations for both Spanish and Latin American audiences. Moreover, I have lived in French-speaking Tunisia for four years and more than ten years in Germany.
