In our Reserve we can observe butterflies like: Morpho menelaus, Morpho achilles, Diaethria spp., Marpesia sp. and also other butterfly species restricted to the forest like: Cithaerias pireta, Mesosemia sp., Napeogenes spp., Oleria sp.; Hyposcada sp. that fly off and rest along the shoreline and on stones along the river and creeks.
Along the creeks on both sides of the trail we also can observe numerous bird species - although this means to go a bit off the main trail –, like tanagers, traupids, hummingbirds, parrots etc. the calls of which will be with us all the time
In some of our trails you just need to wait for Woolly Monkeys, Lagothrix lagotrichia, to pass through in groups of 6 to 8 individuals, with the leading male that is larger compared to the other members, always ahead of the group..will be able to observe them feeding on leaves and fruits of trees like “shimbillo”, annonáceas, lauráceas, etc. and looking for insects in the tree canopy, inside old or rotting branches and under the leaves.
The cock-of the-Rock (Rupicola peruviana) which can be observed perched, posing for each other or raising their crests for attracting the females' attention.

En nuestra Reserva podemos observar mariposas como: Morpho menelaus, Morpho achilles, Diaethria spp., Marpesia sp. y también otras especies de mariposas restringidas al bosque como: Cithaerias pireta, Mesosemia sp., Napeogenes spp., Oleria sp .; Hyposcada sp. que vuelan y descansan a lo largo de la costa y en las piedras a lo largo del río y los arroyos.
A lo largo de los arroyos a ambos lados de los senderos también podemos observar numerosas especies de aves, aunque esto significa ir un poco fuera de la ruta principal, como tangaras, traupidas, colibríes, loros, etc., cuyos cantos nos acompañarán a toda hora
En algunos de nuestros senderos, solo hay que esperar a que monos aulladores, (Lagothrix lagotrichia), pasen en grupos de 6 a 8 personas, con el macho líder que es más grande en comparación con los otros miembros, siempre por delante del grupo, podremos observarlos alimentándose de hojas y frutos de árboles como "shimbillo", annonáceas, lauráceas, etc. y buscando insectos en el dosel del árbol, dentro de ramas viejas o podridas y debajo de las hojas.
El Gallito de las Rocas (Rupicola peruviana) que se puede observar posado, posando el uno al otro o elevando sus crestas para atraer la atención de las hembras.

Bio
After graduating from University (English Philology Bachelor), I was awarded an “Epsilon” scholarship by the Catalan Government to work temporarily in an English-speaking country. Thus, I worked as a trainee translator at V.S.I. Ltd. in London (www.vsi.tv). Tasks: subtitling for commercials, corporate videos, and documentaries. Reference letter available.
After that, I worked as an English teacher for 7 years:
Levels A2 (elementary) and B1 (pre-intermediate).
Mondays to Fridays, 20 hours weekly.
Currently, I'm a professional translator with two years experience. I'm passionate about offering language solutions to anyone willing to bring English-language material to the Spanish/Catalan language market. I've localized a variety of projects, ranging from documents to entire websites. I mostly work with Trados. (I own a license) for localization projects and with Ooona Tools for subtitling projects.
