Having grown up bilingual, I have had the privilege of pursuing university-level education in the United States, Mexico, and Spain. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the U.S., as well as Master's degrees in Human Resources Management and Employee Relations and in Data Science and Business Analytics from Spain, where I currently live.

In addition to my work as a translator, my multidisciplinary background in psychology, human resources, labor relations, public policy, data science, and technology has allowed me to develop a distinctive professional profile at the intersection of language, HR, public policy, and technology. I have worked as an HR consultant, supporting businesses establishing and expanding their operations internationally, with a particular focus on linguistic, organizational, and technology-related needs. My training in SAP SuccessFactors has further strengthened my understanding of HR technology and business processes.

With more than fifteen years of experience as a translator, I bring extensive experience working across English and Spanish in professional and specialized contexts. My experience teaching Spanish in Ireland has also been a valuable complement to my translation career, strengthening my understanding of language acquisition, communication, and cross-cultural differences.

I have a strong interest in programming, data science, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and public policy, particularly in the ways technology and data can contribute to better decision-making, public services, language services, and international communication.

My combination of linguistic expertise, academic training, and experience in HR, public policy, and technology enables me to approach translation projects not only from a linguistic perspective, but also with a solid understanding of the professional, institutional, and business context behind the content.
