Heather Hayes directora y traductora principal de Hayes Traducciones, nacida en los Estados Unidos y graduada de la Universidad de Wisconsin-Madison con doble titulación: en Lingüística y Literatura Española; Historia y Política de Latinoamérica. Reside en Ecuador desde hace 15 años, graduada como Abogada en la Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja. Adicional a la prestación de servicios de traducción e interpretación, ha ejercido cargos de dirección de escuelas de idiomas, centros de traducción, coordinación y administración de proyectos en empresas petroleras; y el libre ejercicio de la profesión de abogada. Adicionalmente, es Perito traductor acreditado del Consejo de la Judicatura del Ecuador y miembro de la ATIEC (Asociación de Traductores e Intérpretes del Ecuador).
Heather Hayes, director and head translator at Hayes Traducciones, is originally from the United States, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with a double major in Spanish Language and Literature and in Latin American, Iberian, and Caribbean Studies. She has been living in Ecuador for the past 15 years, where she graduated with a law degree from the Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja. In addition to providing translation and interpretation services, she has held management positions at language schools and translation centers, as well as project management at oil companies, in addition to being a practicing lawyer. She is a translation expert for the Ecuadorian Judicature Council and is a member of ATIEC (Asociación de Traductores e Intérpretes del Ecuador).
