I am an experienced freelance translator. I studied under acclaimed translation expert Peter Newmark and leading translator/author Gunilla Anderman and subsequently taught with them on the MA in Translation Studies at the University of Surrey.

I have lived and worked extensively in various countries including Sweden, France, Spain and Argentina

I have a long and varied work experience outside translation both in business and the arts. I have worked extensively with International Banks and government departments. I also write , direct and particularly perform regularly on stage in the UK and USA, work which dovetails very well with freelance translation.

Most of my translation comes in the form of shorter jobs of 2,000 to 15,000 words for business clients and agencies (see CV), but I have competed some high profile publications including:
