Holds a BA degree in Portuguese Language and Literatures from UNOPAR, the University of Michigan Certificate of Proficiency in English (Grade A), University of Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (Grade A) and the DALF C1 of the Département Français Langue Etrangère (DeFLE) of the Université Nancy 2. Translator graduated from Prof. Daniel Brilhante de Brito’s Course (1978). Studied Civil Engineering at the Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (1971—1975) and Business Administration at the EBAP-FGV (1971—1972) and UERJ — State University of Rio de Janeiro (1979—1981).

As of 1999, works as a full-time professional translator in the fields of engineering, architecture, legal, IT, science, medicine, pharmaceutics, the arts, economics, business and journalism among other fields. Proofreading and work with major DTP software

User of Trados, SDLX and SDL Studio, MemoQ, DejaVu, Transit, Wordfast and other CAT tools.

My work is supported by a strong technical and managerial background as well as top IT hardware (PCs and Mac) and software.
