I came to the conclusion that I will definitley tell them. I have been thinking about this for a couple of days now and I do feel it is my duty, just like Barry said, and I don't care if it makes my life harder, like Simone said, and if they are not interested, that's ok, because it is their website and their business.
Wow, you've already pondered over this for a couple of days. It will now take more of your time, because you will look into it again and you have to write down the mistakes that you want to point out to your client.
And then after all this trouble the client will just say thanks, or won't do anything about it and if you're really unlucky you won't get a response at all. So it will only have cost you, but where's the benefit/gain? Let me guess: you feel better for having told them?
Because that's the real issue IMHO: WE care about words/text/mistakes, but unfortunately a lot of our customers don't care so much about that.
