Razón por la cual, con los textos de X y Y en mano, no parece por tanto tener asidero la lectura moral que hacen A y B de ella.

¿A qué se refiere "ella"? ¿Podría servir un simple "it"?
Por "lectura" entiendo "reading" o "interpretation", pero, nuevamente, me abstengo para aprender de los nativos.

The key term here--which it took me awhile to remember, and then confirm--is "well-grounded". It's a philosophy jargon favorite.
