backup support /user help Explicación: A bit of a redundancy in English IMO. "Solidario" really just means caring and sharing, supporting, "let's-all-stick-together" so I assume they just mean backup/support. I wouldn't insert "technical" because in my experience Spanish tends to overuse the word and IMO if they'd wanted it in, they'd have used it. The fact they chose "solidario" suggests to me they are simply trying to convey a spirity of mutual support/help among equals/peers, rather than some all-knowing "technical" expert to solve any problems that crop up. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 15 hrs (2012-03-24 10:23:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- There is also the possibility of a ropey initial translation from Euskerra, if indeed it refers to some piece of HW, as our colleagues suggest above. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 days12 hrs (2012-03-27 07:26:10 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- You might try something like "backup device" or "support device"... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 days (2012-03-28 08:08:45 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- From your note, it sounds like a "device" or "component"... |
