(curtain) tie
Explicación:
This is more or less the same as the previous answers but it's shorter. A quick Google images search for "curtain tie" shows examples...

PS: And I'm not poaching, because I mentioned this earlier in a related query (tirador amarre)

Sorry for posting the wrong link yesterday, I was in a hurry.
However, as I explained, a rapid image search will show you that curtain ties and tiebacks are the same thing. In general, we tend to just say "ties" for things like that (cable ties, couch cover ties, curtain ties…). I don't think the "back" component adds much to the term, unless when specifically referring to things which are folded back upon themselves (see images).

If it's metal, then 'curtain hook' would be the term you need.

Kathryn is right, curtain hooks are used to attach curtains to the rail.

Coincido  12316323 (X): Yes, but aren't curtain hooks something else entirely? A metal alzapaño (attached to the wall) is a holdback, like you said. /I see what you mean- missed that. Then, yes, definitely holdback.

Neutral  12316323 (X): I think you posted the wrong link. "curtain tie" without "back" or "backs" gave me less than 200 results. I think curtain tieback is most accurate (or holdback--despite referring to different things, apparently both = alzapaño in Spanish).

-> Yep, post in haste, repent at leisure. Over here, we call them "curtain ties" for curtains, and just "ties" when they are for tying other things.
