Spanish term

hoja de ruta

Spanish to English Bus/Financial Advertising / Public Relations
This is from a marketing letter that is promoting trade fairs. I think this is a figurative use, so the direct translation of "waybill" sounds like *. Any suggestions?

"Motortec-Automechanika Ibérica es una nueva hoja de ruta que mira al futuro."

road map

Yes, it is a figurative use. It has been recently used very often to refer to the 'road map for peace' in the Middle East and is very consolidated both in Spanish and English.

Peer comment(s):

agree Noni Gilbert Riley : Yes, so much used by a certain US politician when he was in power that the expression makes me wince!! I prefer two words, but both forms are in use.
