all of the checkpoints have bone connotations...

inglés al español Otros General / Conversación / Saludos / Cartas Para motociclistas - Me
The text goes:

"I was zooming around sloppy-wet logging roads trying to find checkpoints on the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiast' Bonehed Enduro, a not-too-serious ride with an emphasis on old guys and old bikes. And bones. All of the chckpoints have bone connotations, such as the snow bone and the muy bone..."

I need any help from motorcyclists, since this looks like jergon. What are chickpoints and bones in this context? Many thanks.

Just as an aside - if you go to http://www.urbandictionary.com you can find a lot of slang expressions explained. But i have to say that bone has only sexual and drug relations in this dictionary. However, if you ever need to look up jargon here is the place.

Bones: used bikes & parts - checkpoints:estaciones all of the checkpoints have bone connotations... –
todas las estaciones de control del rally tienen connotaciones relacionadas con el tema de motocicletas “antiguas” / “Clásicas” / “de época.” .
- Bones: used bikes & parts
- En algunos rallies, los participantes buscan y documentan o recogen “pistas” en determinadas ‘estaciones de control’ o lugares designados, con el fin de acumular puntaje para la premiación final.
The Bonehead Enduro is an old bike rider event. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=581914
Rally – Enduro: a rally, a navigation event in motorcycle in this case.
Bonehead Enduro: An annual Pacific Northwest motorcycling event, the Bonehead Enduro is all about "old guys and old bikes". It's basically a scavenger hunt (búsqueda de tesoros) on vintage motorcycles.
English: Enduro isn't exactly racing, because the main objective is to traverse a series of checkpoints, arriving exactly "on time" in accordance with your beginning time and the time it is supposed to take to arrive at each checkpoint. The courses are usually run over thick wooded terrain, sometimes with large obstacles such as logs, ditches, and sudden drops. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moto

Bonehead Enduro
Diggin' for Bones Near Snoqualmie

April typically marks the month for the annual Bonehead Enduro. Introduced in 1994. The event is a tribute to older riders and older machines.

Riders over 53, or owners of pre 70s bikes are encouraged to participate. ID's will not be checked. Virtually anyone licensed to ride can sign up for this fun ride through the mountains around Snoqualmie. At the center of it all is a scavenger hunt. Riders check in early in the morning and get a clue to find the first "bone." By the end of the event they have typically located up to ten bones (depending on the year) and a few bonus bones.
