Rather simple, but it is the plain language version. "After reading this contract, the parties have signed it in duplicate....etc. etc.". También es cuestión cultural, que en español, donde los documentos legales utilizan para los verbos el tiempo presente, en inglés, suelen utilizar el pretérito.
