I have a large, well-paid assignment with a flexible deadline, so I can accept smaller assignments from other clients in between. Never a dull (or non-paid) moment for the coming months and yet available for new endeavours

After two extremely busy months things got sort of quiet again but I’m already fully booked in June...

I already have several firm orders and various irons in the fire, some bigger than others and ones that will extend to July, August and December. They are more or less 'fixed' but details are being negotiated.
Of course, no POs have formally been issued for the to-be-decided projects. So, if a big well-paying job that will keep me busy and in clover for the next 3 or 4 months comes along, that will get my immediate attention.

Or, maybe I should say 'other'
because I usually have several longer, ongoing projects going on - currently 4 - while I still can accept shorter ones in between.

I currently have a backlog of software strings waiting to be translated, but I'm not sure how many words it would be equivalent to. If no other jobs came in and I was able to dedicate myself 100% to those, I'd probably need a full month to get them all done comfortably. However, I don't consider that as being booked up until some point in the future, as I'm usually able to squeeze in translations and other tasks for my regular clients.

I have to big projects that will take me about ten days, but I always plan those with space for the regular small jobs I receive every day. The regular clients with regular small jobs never fill my agenda completely, but they are regulars, so I must save their space, always.

For me the jobs always come together with very demanding deadlines or, there are no jobs for some time.

Typical for this time of year - May, June and part of July are often my busiest months.
