to make safe bets
You might want to turn things around a little and use an affirmative statement instead of a negative one.
....allow professionals to make safe bets.
Meaning "to make sound decisions", "decisions that are not made at random", etc.

arguments....which leave nothing to chance
Maybe? Sounds a bit more professional, appropriate for this type of document.
One option anyway.
Good luck.

Hmm. In that case, maybe you could try something like:
-arguments that enable elimination/reduction/minimisation of risk factors
-arguments that will enable (el profesional) to avoid risk
-arguments that allow (el profesional) to minimise risk
No time to think about how to translate "el profesional" right now. "the professional" just doesn't have the same ring to it in English, does it?

: The other alternatives offered are not incorrect, but, for me, this one best captures the sense of the original.
