Today I am reviewing the terms and conditions of an online store. I love translating and reviewing contracts and terms and conditions. I think these are the legal documents I enjoy the most.

I have just finished translating a letter to parents of children attending a school in the United States, and now I will start reviewing a 9000+ word lawsuit filed in a Swiss court. But first coffee!

Today I am translating two brochures about International Women's Day for an American company. Besides the fact that I love the subject, I am also learning a lot (for example, about women's inventions).

One of the things I enjoy most about my work as a legal translator is the diversity of subjects I encounter on a daily basis. Yesterday I commented that I was reviewing a court decision of a major sports organization. I had to consult various regulations and codes of that organization and compare the English and Spanish versions to make sure that the terminology was correct. But today I am able to bring out my creative side, as I am translating a text on International Women's Day. I love both projects and they allow me to explore different topics in depth.

Today I am editing the translation of a decision of the disciplinary committee of a major sports organization.

Today I am doing the quality control of the translation of an extract from the commercial register of a Swiss city.

This week I am finishing a translation on ecological restoration. It's a very long project, which has taken me several weeks, so I'm really looking forward to wrapping it up :-)

Sometimes we receive beautiful texts to translate. That happened to me today: I'm translating a brochure about Black History Month, and learning a lot. I love these jobs!

I have just finished translating the performance evaluations of three employees, and now I am going to enjoy a good coffee, before starting a training on the translation of notarial documents from German.

Today I am revising a translation for the European Union.

Today I worked on a marketing translation for a company's blog. It's not a field I focus on a lot, but from time to time I like to take on a project in this area, to practice my more creative translation skills.

Today I am translating the second part of some consent forms for research participants. I translated the first part in December, how nice it is when clients come back happy with the result!

While most of my work deals with legal documents, sometimes I take on other interesting projects. I will be spending much of January translating a manual on ecological restoration practices. I will surely learn a lot about a very interesting and current topic!

In Bavaria the sun is already setting and I am starting the last project of the day: the code of conduct of the library of a beautiful city in the United States. It's a nice project to end the week!
