I have been a full time translator of Spanish and French to English for over 30 years. I have also been a certified interpreter for 30 years. I have a Masters in Translation from the Universidad de Valladolid, Spain, and a post-graduate Diploma in Interpreting from UWI, Jamaica. For 16 years, I was the head of the translation department at Language Training Centre and therefore have vast experience as a revisor for other translators.

I am a Past President of the Translators and Interpreters Association of Jamaica (TIA), and was a staff English Translator at the World Bank for 8 years, until September 2013. I am also a lecturer on the Masters in Translation programme at the University of the West Indies, specializing in Financial, Technical and Institutional Translation, as well as Project Management. I recently served for over 5 years as the Head of English Translation at the OACPS Secretariat in Brussels.
