Hi. I am thinking of applying to the AVT summer course offered by CenTraS in University College London (http://www.ucl.ac.uk/centras/professional-online-courses/summer-translation/av-summer-school)
Since I live in another country and would have to relocate to London for a whole month, I wanted to know if anybody had information on this course.
I am an experienced subtitler and captioner, but I only know American styles. I would very much like to learn teletext, SDH/CC with color IDs, and audiodescription, which I know nothing about.
Do you think it will be worthwile to invest so much time and money in this course?
I also know they offer a similar online course: is it much different?
