physical training somewhere on site
Jan 12, 2011
In the past there used to be physical trainings on site, e.g. somewhere in the Netherlands. These courses are all on line? What about physical trainings somewhere on site?
Kind regards, Herman S.J. Pot

In-Person training starting back up this year
Jan 12, 2011
Hi Herman, thanks for bringing this up. You're right, ProZ.com has been focused on bringing more training to a wider audience via online offerings the past year, however there will be in-person training on CAT tools like SDL Trados in 2011. Check back to http://www.proz.com/translator-training in the coming weeks to see a schedule of in-person training dates and locations.

If you know of locations in the Netherlands where we could schedule a course, please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected]
Universities are a great location as they typically have computer labs and can often host events on weekends when students are not present. We would welcome any suggestions on local Universities with translation programs that would be a good place to host an in-person training.
