Thank Lucia!
Good advice. Alas, I panicked and paid with a credit card (not my own!), but next time I'll do as you advise.
I have another problem though. I've been trying to download the "Getting started Sample files part 1 and 2", but my computer won't co-operate. The PDF handbook was no problem.
Any advice?

The sample files are in TTX format, and these can only be opened with an installed version of SDL Trados.
If you have downloaded the file, and cannot open, it is likely as you are not opening from within Trados.
The training and manual will go over how to open and use TTX files when sent by clients or agencies.

Hi Drew, I have been downloaded the file and cannot open it. I have an installed version of Trados and tried to open it with it but didn't succeed. How can I open it? Any advice? Thanks Eliane | | | aongus Local time: 02:06 alemán al inglés Sample files | Oct 27, 2010 |
Hi Eliane,
I have also tried to open the files with Trados SDL studio 2009, but it won't work for me either: "This type of date is not supported". This software has cost me a lot of frustration (and money). I hope the workshop clears up some issues. My main problem is getting AutoSuggest to work.
Cheers,
