"Urban garden" was inspired by the terrace of the resto selected. I went for Old Montreal to show off this part of town to our visitor from Holland. However I don't live in Montreal and am unaware of the jewels the great city has to offer Please suggest another venue, keeping in mind s.v.p. that out-of-towners rely on public transportation, and that some of us are vegetarian. Yes, it was the picture on their website that sealed the deal for me the menu is nicely varied, too, something for everyone. Have you ever been there?

I have been told that Jardin Nelson is one of the best (and most expensive) restaurants in old Montreal. But, since you can only eat outside, bring some sunscreen.

Manger sur une terrasse au mois de juillet, bien sûr! Je connais la plus belle... à Montréal... et ce n'est pas la +++ chère qui ne rime pas nécessairement avec + agréable et surtout meilleure...

The weather forecast promises a dry-up this afternoon and evening, let's hope they're right (it's raining in Cornwall just now). See you all at Jardin Nelson at 6, as planned, except of course for those of you who wrote to say you couldn't make it. If your circumstances change, come on down, we'll be there!
