I have done tranlations related to a variety of topics, especially those requiring knowledge of financial terms, and those related to Latin American politics,tourism, and agriculture.

I'm a free-lance translator who has been living in Peru for the last 22 years. My native language is English. As for my educational and professional background, I have an accounting degree from Oklahoma State University and I worked in the accounting and finance departments of large oil companies in the U.S. and Peru for 14 years. In recent years, I have been studying translation and interpretation while teaching English (at Ernst & Young, World Bank, U.S. Embassy, Telefonica, etc.) and doing translations, mostly through an agency (for Lima Airport Partners, the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, Johns Hopkins, the International Potato Center and other companies, institutions and law firms).
