In case you haven’t noticed, we are still living in sky-falling
days. As this book is going to press, our American borders are
bleeding fentanyl and illegal immigrants. Inflation is out of
control with gasoline prices headed toward five dollars a gallon.
School boards are erupting into riots as they fight over who
has the right to educate our children. American workers are no
longer working, finding it much easier to sit at home and collect
government payouts. And that means companies that are trying to get on their feet again after the pandemic cannot find
employees. Crime is turning the United States into a developing
country as criminals are set free to murder and rape and carjack
and rob merchants, all at a rate never before seen in our history.
Russia is at war with Ukraine and little by little we can feel our
nation being pulled into the conflict.
The details will be different in days and years to come. But
the question remains: What do we do as Christians when we
find ourselves in such frightening circumstances?
