I have more
than 15 years of experience in the translation industry, as a translator,
editor, QC, proofreader, and Project Manager for leading translation companies.
I am currently working as a freelance translator and project manager. As a
professional linguist, I set high quality standards on each translation, with a
focus on client satisfaction.

I enjoy
translating and feel very grateful with this profession as I find it enriching
and challenging on every translation project I undertake. Each and every
translation is a new opportunity to learn and improve, and to put my experience
and knowledge into practice to achieve the communication purpose across
cultures.

fields I enjoy more and highlights:

*International
Organizations and Development: I have recently been proudly handling
translations of an International Development Bank as a directly client,
providing localization and translation of Annual Reports and several internal
documentation mainly on the fields of development aligned with UN ODS, ranging
on sustainable development initiatives, strategic partnerships, climate change,
environment and ecology, education and similar. It is a fresh breath to be part
of life changing projects for a better future for all!

*Press
releases: For almost 2 years now, I have been translating major newswire's
press releases on subjects ranging from Life Sciences, IT, Finance, Securities
and Investment, Marketing, Tourism and Travel, Hospitality, Foods and Beverages,
Telecommunications, and more. Timelines are challenging! Press releases give me
the opportunity to develop a more creative style of translation within a journalistic
frame, as the nature of these is both informative and appealing, no room for
literal translations here!

*Subtitling:
I am constantly looking for new opportunities to use my skills in this parallel
world of translation. Subtitling has its own peculiarities, most of which I
have learned hands on the field and by in person annual specialization in the
Translators Association. I have proofed subtitles of movies, children series,
and subtitled promotional materials for wineries, educational programs and
tourism and travel.

*Life Sciences
and Health Care: This has been my specialty field for over 10 years now. I have
a solid background and formal training on clinical study related materials,
including ICs, Protocols, IBs, marketing patient facing materials, logs and
diaries, focus groups and linguistic validation. In Health Care, I work with
materials raging from health care associations and providers for patients and
consumers to medical devices information and instructions for physicians and
health care personnel.

*Marketing
and promotional materials: including websites, tags, and transcreation.

*Educational
materials: I have recently been expanding my experience in the field by helping
translate online content and instructional materials for K-12, plus IEPs
reports and similar.

Also, I
work on IT, software and app translation, business and commerce, human
resources and many more.
