I am a language professional with 20 years experience in the field of translation and teaching. My native language is Spanish and I have been educated in England and live in the UK for the last 32 years. This bilingual experience provides me with a wealth of resources both in the source and target language to find the intrinsic nuances and adequacy to the final translation job.

Qualified with a Degree in Linguistics, a Master in Translation and Technology, and a long list of translator training and educator courses which have updated my skills in the latest forms of modern communications.

In addition to translating, I have taught Spanish as a foreign language since 1997 and I have been in charge of designing educational material and exams for university students.

I am also a Community Interpreter with a wide range of experience in cases (medical, social, legal) I have worked with clients whose language is either European Spanish or South American.

My maxim is to achieve translations which sound well in the target language and convey the message efficiently and naturally.
