Grob gesprochen kommen neun von zehn Investoren zu uns, weil sie sich finanziell in einem Uranunternehmen engagieren wollen. ESO Uranium verfolgt beide Liegenschaften und besitzt inzwischen einfach auch viele Uran- grundstücke. Viele Aktionäre sehen, dass mit den global existierenden 441 Atomkraftwerken auch eine Sogwirkung auf Uran entsteht. Derzeit werden 23 Atommeiler gebaut, weitere 137 sind in Planung. Mit unseren Grundstücken im Athabasca-Becken fühlen wir uns sehr gut für weitere Uranpreissteigerungen vorbereitet.
UNTERNEHMEN
Wie steht es momentan um die Arbeiten auf Ihren Urangebieten im Athabasca-Becken?
Bei dem Projekt Cluff können wir ähnlich wie bei unseren anderen Urangrundstücken auf Erkundungsarbeiten der Vorgängerunternehmen vergangener Jahre zurückgreifen. Letztes Jahr haben wir das Grundstück noch einmal mit einem sehr leistungsfähigen Luftaufnahmegerät
überflogen, um das Gebiet elektromagnetisch zu untersuchen. Dieses Jahr haben wir mit physikalischen Bodenarbeiten die Anomalien genauer untersucht und abgeschlossen. Das Gestein, welches das Uranvorkommen bei der alten Cluff-Mine führt, kommt bei uns bis an die Oberfläche. Wir wollen in diesem Gebiet tiefere physikalische Untersuchungen des Bodens
durchführen, um möglicherweise zu ähnlichen positiven Ergebnissen zu kommen, wie sie bei Shea Creek vorliegen. Insbesondere der Westteil unseres Projektes Cluff scheint uns auf Grund der Ähnlichkeit viel versprechend.
Wie kommen die Bohraktivitäten in Saskatchewan voran?
Wir haben die geophysikalischen Luftaufnahmen bei den Projekten Cluff und Hook und im Norden von Cree durchgeführt. Ausgewählte Ziele von Cluff und Hook testet ESO Uranium derzeit mit geophysikalischen Boden- untersuchungen. Letzten Winter haben wir Cluff bebohrt und nach
Ähnlichkeiten zur Lagerstätte der alten Cluff-Mine gesucht. Wir wollen die Bohrarbeiten fortführen, wenn der Boden genügend gefroren ist, um unsere schwere Ausrüstung verwenden zu können.

Roughly speaking, nine out of ten investors contact us because they are interested in a stake in a uranium company. ESO Uranium is actively pursuing both properties and has also purchased other uranium properties in the meantime. Many shareholders see the potential snowball effect – what with 441 nuclear power plants existing world wide, 23 being built, and a further 137 in the planning stages. Given our current properties in the Athabasca Basin we feel very prepared to handle rising prices in the future.

What is the current state of development at your property in the Athabasca Basin?
At Cluff, like at our other uranium properties, we are able to draw upon the exploratory work done by past owners. Last year we took renewed aerial shots with extremely powerful equipment in order to analyse the property electro-magnetically. This year we completed physical data analyses on the ground that examined anomalies in more detail. The rock that contains the uranium deposits at the Cluff Mine comes right to the surface. We want to do more physical tests of the ground in this area, to potentially come up with similarly positive results to those found at Shea Creek. Because of its similarity to Shea Creek, it is the western section of our Cluff Project that looks particularly promising.
How are the drilling operations in Saskatchewan coming?
We had the geophysical aerial photos for the Cluff and Hook and in the north taken by Cree. ESO Uranium is doing geophysical ground assessments at select sites on Cluff and Hook properties. Last winter we drilled Cluff and looked for similarities to the deposits at the old Cluff Mine. We want to continue drilling when the ground is sufficiently frozen to allow for our heavy equipment.
You are looking for a joint venture partner for parts of your Athabasca Basin property.
Yes, we are hopeful we will find joint venture partners for the property at Cree Lake. Partners would have the opportunity to acquire a stake in Cree Lake by completing geological surveys of the area. We are working on this at the moment. Cree Lake is a huge property and for reasons of financing and diversity we are looking for partners.

Durch zunehmende Immigration aus unterschiedlichen Kulturkreisen, hat sich in den westlichen Ländern die Wahrnehmung und Beurteilung von Religion und Glauben in den letzten Jahren enorm verändert. Schon bevor die irreführenden Begriffe wie „Kampf der Zivilisationen“ die gegenseitige Wahrnehmung prägten, entwickelten Menschen aus unterschiedlichen Religionen in Bern eine utopische Vision, die ein spannendes Projekt wurde und heute kurz vor Baubeginn steht. Diese Vision hat seine Wurzeln in einer Studie über Stadtentwicklung in Bern-West, wo viele Immigranten leben. Der „Runde Tisch der Religionen“ (heute der Verein Haus der Religionen), der den Dialog zwischen unterschiedlichen Glaubensrichtungen bestrebt, griff aus der Studie die Idee eines multikulturellen Begegnungszentrums auf und entwickelte zusammen mit Bauart Architekten und Planer das Projekt „Haus der Religionen“. Das Haus bringt Sakralräume von sechs großen Weltreligionen (Baha’i, Buddhismus, Christentum, Hindu, Islam und Judentum) unter ein gemeinsames Dach. Das gesamte Gebäude wurde als ein Mehrzweckgebäude konzipiert und beinhaltet neben Räumlichkeiten für die religiöse Praxis unter anderem ein Kinderhort, eine öffentliche Bibliothek und Seminar- und Versammlungsräume. Als ein Vorzeigeprojekt lässt das Haus der Religionen die Hoffnung für ein multikulturelles Zusammenleben der Kulturen weiter bestehen.

As regular waves of immigration have continued to shape the demographics of Western countries, this melting pot of cultures has at the same time influenced the opinions and attitudes toward religion and faith in modern society. Even before the use of terms like, “The Clash of Civilizations” began to skew common perception, a multi-faith group of diverse, forward-thinking individuals in Bern had a utopian vision. This vision has since developed into a concrete and exciting project that has now gone beyond the planning phase and stands shortly before execution. The vision is rooted in a study about urban development in Bern-West, a vibrant immigrant neighbourhood. Using the study’s initial idea of the formation of a multicultural centre, the “Roundtable of Religions,” today the House of Religions Association, set as its goal the encouragement of interfaith dialogue. In cooperation with Bauart architects and planners, the idea of a “House of Religions” slowly began to take form. The project brings together respective sacred spaces for six of the world’s largest religions: Baha’i, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism, and houses them together under one roof. The whole building has been designed for multifunctionality, and beyond spaces for religious practice also includes a day care facility, a public library, and common rooms for meetings and seminars. The House of Religions as a model for interfaith dialogue fuels the hope that mere coexistence will progress to deeper understanding and tolerance.
