My name is María SOTO and I am a certified translator Spanish, English and French, being Spanish my mother tongue.
I finished my studies on Translation and Interpretation (English-Spanish-French) on 2006, in the University of Granada (Spain). I completed these studies the year after, with a Master on Public Services Translation and Interpretation at the University of Alcalá de Henares (Spain). Besides, I spent my third year at university in the Copenhagen Business School, in Copenhagen (Denmark), taking part of the European Erasmus program. Recently I have become member of The Institute of Localisation Professionals and I am a Certified Localisation Professional.
Regarding my work experience, as you can see in my cv, I would like to highlight my experience in the translation company Technical Advisors & Translations S.L., in Madrid, in which I worked mainly translating technical documents, but also legal and sworn documents, as well as performing logistic management of documentation and translation projects.
I consider myself as an effective translator, whose working languages are English<>Spanish, French>Spanish, experienced in working in translation projects for companies and as a freelance.
I am able to handle situations of working under pressure in an effective way and I am very responsible on delivering the projects on time. I also think that I am a highly motivated person with a strong work ethic.
Last year I was living and working in Atlanta with a program from the Spanish Government, as well as continuing with my career as a freelance translator. After spending the Summer in Spain, I moved to Belgium and I am currently based in Liège.
I love the mixture of cultures and languages and I feel that I don't wanna stop learning from every country where I'll be... |
