I was born in El Salvador, but I consider myself to be from the Americas in the full extent of the word.
I have traveled the two continents, lived in the United States during different periods of my life and I am very familiar with U.S culture.
I discovered my love for linguistics about 15 years ago and since then, being bilingual in Spanish and English, I have been working towards learning how to make better use of the two. I am an avid reader with a voracious appetite for knowledge, and have made translation my choice of work. I enjoy the challenge of learning about a specific topic, so that I can translate accurately.
My initial foundation is in electricity and electronics, which gives me a broad expertise in most engineering matters. My studies and work in business administration help me in matters concerning fields related ,marketing, financing, accounting etc. I have also worked in other areas, agriculture, civil society, development) for NGO's,s both pro-bono and as an in-house translator.
I am affiliated as Volunteer with TED, TWB and Niva.
I am a science buff, amateur astronomer and poor chess player.
