I am freelancer with extensive travelling experience, added to rich cultural and technical background.

I was born in Brazil of Dutch father and French ancestry, having studied at an American school outside Brazil for 7 years of my early and late teens next to a hydro power plant. Held more than 20 years of managerial position in major container shipping line. 

Basically speaking, this is my profile:

1- Two mother tongues (UsEN and BrPT) with certified mastery of US/UK/CA English and good command of any Spanish or EuPT (spent considerable time in Portugal).

2- Four language combinations: PT/EN, SP/EN, EN/BrPT, EuPT/BrPT

3- Experience in almost all branches of knowledge thanks to my +25 years work experience (since 1990) also in sworn translation. Also medical claim reports with certification from U.S. health plan/ insurance related agency.

4- Two years in Electromechanical engineering with focus on Power Generation.

6- Flexible rates ranging $0.05 -0.10$ per word depending on projects, deadlines, payment terms and regular work flow.
