As a native Spanish speaker fluent in English, I specialize in technical translations but bring a wide breadth of expertise across industries, including legal, automotive, telecom, medical, and general business documentation.

Holding a B.Sc. in Electronics, I combine linguistic precision with deep technical understanding, particularly in IT and telecommunications, allowing me to provide translations that are both accurate and contextually relevant. Over the past 28 years, I have successfully completed freelance translation projects for clients around the globe, and I have been a proud member of the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Canada (ATIO) for over 20 years.

I can deliver and work in a wide range of formats, including:

MS Office, PDF, InDesign, QuarkXPress, Illustrator, FrameMaker, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, and more – on both Mac and PC platforms.

I use SDL Trados Studio 2009/2011/2014/2017 and other CAT tools as needed.

My output averages 3,000 to 4,000 words per day, and I always ensure that every translation is proofread by another native speaker before delivery to guarantee the highest quality.

Rates:

Translation: USD $0.11 per word

DTP: USD $6.00–$15.00 per page (depending on complexity and software) or $35/hour

Payments accepted via PayPal, international bank transfer, or cheque
