English-into-Spanish translator specialising in audiovisual translation. I hold an MA in Audiovisual Translation from ISTRAD University (Seville, Spain). I also have a BA and an MA in English Studies, Linguistics and Literature from the University of Alicante (Spain). Since 2018 I have been involved in several projects related with translation, subtitles and dubbing.
Also, having worked in administration as a quality checker for more than six years for Pearson Education, London (United Kingdom) I have proficient computer skills and of course, I am also very familiar with both iOS and Microsoft systems.
Furthermore, due to my experience subtitling, I am familiar with working with character limitations and all other particulars of this activity also, I feel comfortable working with several subtitling programmes and tools, such as EZTitles, Subtitle Edit, VisualSubSync, MediaSubtitler, Subtitler Workshop, HandBrake and some others and, on top of that, I also feel a passion for cinema and TV series.
