I am a UK-based freelance translator and interpreter working from French and Spanish into English, with working knowledge of German. I hold a First-Class MA in French and Spanish from the University of St Andrews and an MSc in Translating and Interpreting from Heriot-Watt University.

I have over five years’ experience in the language services industry, providing translation, interpreting and subtitling services across a range of domains. My main areas of specialisation include travel and tourism, media content, and medical interpreting (orthopaedics, general practice and mental health).

Alongside my freelance work, I have professional experience in language project coordination and client-facing roles, which has given me a strong understanding of workflows, deadlines and quality expectations from both the client and linguist perspectives.

I am confident working with industry-standard CAT tools such as Trados, Memsource and WinCaps, and I pride myself on clear communication, attention to detail and consistently meeting or exceeding deadlines. I am always keen to develop my skills further through CPD and professional training.
