Bio
I've always loved languages, I studied in a bilingual elementary school, that was my first contact with English and i loved teaching my family the new words I was learning. After primary school and throughout my education i had classes in English like Accounting, Marketing research, History among others. As a teenager it did not pay the required importance. So when I graduated, despite knowing the language, and being kind of immerse in it at school. I was not able to speak fluently with native speakers in English. So, I decided to study English for a year in London, and I reached the advanced level and fluent on it. After my return I started to study Portuguese while I was working in Marketing.
I started doing translations from my first job at TRI Latin America for product packaging. And in translating the documentation or emails that came from the corporate in the United States (Tootsie Roll Industries), as a part of my job. When I returned from London I started working with the Porcelanite tile adhesive brand, and I wrote and corrected its packaging. I started mu marketing consulting company and translations where required there, so I eventually did them for my clients. I have worked with different markets Consumer, services, aswel as for companies in construction industry.
I like the photography, traveling, walking my dog, a dinner with friends or with my family and go to the movies. I also love traveling to the beach, even though I can't do it as often as i would desire, also i like to learn languages, i am currently learning French, although at a slower pace than Portuguese since I have less time than before...
My great achievements are having graduated from the MBA, having lived in London for a year, being self-employed and having the freedom to travel twice a year to the beach, I am interested in doing a Master in Literature next year, because I love reading, my preferred genre are romance novels, business books, personal and spiritual growth.
