I am a Literary and Technical-Scientific English <> Spanish Translator since 1993. I have been in the translation industry for more than ten years and have gained a vast experience in the areas of telecommunications, IT, software localization, and medical consent forms and protocols.
Over the past five years I have been working in the translation of medical
consent forms and protocols covering a wide range of diseases: HIV/AIDS,
many types of cancer, diabetes, ophtalmology, etc for many well-known
companies.
Since 1994 I have participated as freelance translator and proofreader in many translation projects involving ERP/software localization: UI, documentation, training material, and on-line help, as well as on-line localization projects (Idiom) for US and South American translation agencies.
I am highly experienced in CAT tools such as Trados and SDLX, and usually
translate around 2500-3000 words per day.
My rates are from 0.06 to 0.08 per source word for translation, and 0.02 for editing, though I am very flexible and ready to negotiate long projects.
I live in Rosario, Argentina, and I am working as a full-time translator. |
