I am an English-Spanish (LatAm) professional linguist with over three years of experience in subtitling entertainment content and in translating and post-editing technical and scientific texts. I hold a graduate degree from a prestigious Argentinian university, which has equipped me with a solid foundation in Linguistics and translation techniques. My role as a teaching assistant in the subject “Scientific and Technical Translation 1” at the National University of La Plata allowed me to refine my abilities in translating complex texts related to healthcare, medicine, and science. I completed a professional subtitle course, and I am experienced with CAT tools such as Trados Studio, Translation Workspace, Subtitle Edit and MateCat. At the moment, I am working for an American company in which I create subtitles and closed captions for TV series and shows, and provide QA services when needed.
As a professional, I am committed to continuously improving my skills and welcome feedback to enhance my performance. Apart from my passion for languages, I love art in all its different shapes.
