En la mayoría de los países, la papa se considera una hortaliza común y corriente, ideal para absorber salsas y llenar el estómago. Sin embargo, se trata de uno de los alimentos más energéticos que existen y de alto valor nutricional (contiene carbohidratos, proteínas y aminoácidos esenciales). Es muy rica en potasio y nos protege de enfermedades cardiovasculares. En promedio, una papa contiene la mitad del requerimiento diario recomendado de vitamina C.
A lo largo de un año y bajo los auspicios de la FAO (Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Agricultura y la Alimentación), expertos de todo el mundo se reunieron para instaurar el Año de la Papa. Se convencieron entonces de su asombroso potencial: Este alimento podría ayudar a evitar el hambre de millones de personas asoladas por la pobreza en los países que cuentan con menos recursos!
Se calcula que para el año 2030 la población mundial crecerá en más de 100 millones de habitantes por año y el 95% de esas personas vivirá en naciones pobres.

Sie ist sehr reich an Kalium und schuetzt uns vor Herzerkrankungen. Durchschnittlich enthaelt eine Kartoffel die Haelfte des taeglich empfohlenen Vitamin C Bedarfs.

I am a native German- ,as well as Spanish speaker as I came to Argentina as a child.
I have started English with thirteen, finishing my high school in Barberto, Ohio, USA, working with languages all the time.
My skills come from laboral practice in different companies in Buenos Aires, Agencia Marítima Delfino, the general agents of Hamburg Suedamerikanische Dampfschiffahrts gesellschaft, where we received translation classes and had to make translations about the situation of all CAP and Santa ships.
Afterwards I worked in an industrial establishment FV S.A. as secretary to the directors where I also had to use the three languages.
After raising 7 children, helping them in their German and English studies, I returned to office work, first in Bayer Argentina. In 1993 I was called for a part time job to the FV S.A. where I still am working. This part time job allows me to make translations at home. About pricing I am quite flexible.
