A graduate in German and Spanish at Bradford University, UK, I worked in music-related publishing and in music education before taking the Diploma in Public Service Interpreting in Spanish (Law) at the University of London in 2007. After starting a family, I began interpreting in 2014. Since then I have also developed my translation career, building on previous translating experience of medical translating for Hoechst AG in Germany and various music-related translation projects. I translate mainly legal documents and certificates but have increased my medical knowledge and vocabulary through Medical Interpreting. I added to my expertise in 2019 with an MA in Applied Translation at the University of East Anglia in my home town of Norwich. I obtained a Distinction for my Dissertation which compared two historic Spanish Bible translations.
