Hello and nice to e-meet you!

My name is Artêmis, and I'm a Brazilian native translator and proofreader.

I started learning by myself, on 2007, to create subtitles from scratch. From them to now, I took as many classes as I could, so I would be even more qualified. I now translate not only subtitles, but also I'm great with transcreation, especially for dubbing script and games.

I do have a great love for translation in general, even if it is not audiovisual. Over the years, I worked on translations and QC in many fields, especially because depending on what we are working on, we must do an extended research, which I'm pretty good at doing.

Because I love what I do, I invest what I can in my career. I'm working on my degree in English and Portuguese, asides from paralel courses I've taken (translators' training courses in many areas, such as scientific, journalism, literature, audiovisual, game localization, law, among others). I am reliable and have a good relationship with all my clients.
     

I can say with confidence that now I am a full-time translator, subtitler, and QCer since 2007, working with translation, scripting, SDH, QC, audio description and trailers for main video streaming services and some small games. I also have been working on quality control verifying files since 2021 for Netflix (Audio, Subtitling, Audio Description, CC). I estimate over 3,000 files so far.
