English to Spanish translator in business since 2007!

Working mostly with technical translations, localization and subtitles.

I have a MA in Specialized and Audiovisual Translation from the University of Roehampton, London. I was awarded the Gerhard Weiler Prize for my thesis about respeaking. Receiving this award was a great surprise, but I am glad some Spanish TV channels used it as a basis for improving the quality of live subtitles for deaf and hard of hearing people in Spain.

Here’s some experience I have:

  • over 1,5 million words translated for individual clients and SMBs
  • worked in teams localizing and QA testing video games and apps into Spanish from Spain
  • technical translations, SEO, keywords localization, UX writing and copywriting to reach the Spanish market
