Hello
dear colleagues! I started to become interested in languages
the moment I moved to Japan to study. I was 17 at the
time. First Japanese, then English, Spanish, French, and finally German. At
first, I didn't think I could be a translator and use them as a work tool.

I
decided to be an Autodidact, and I liked it. I used several study methods and
memorization tools for my learning; the most used was Anki.

I
spent a few years putting aside my studies and missed them.

I
was not satisfied with the "ordinary" work I was doing at the time.
From then on, with the help of my wife, I started to enter the translation
business at the end of 2013, when I mainly translated Manga and Anime as a
hobby.

Under
the influence of my wife, I looked for Brazilian translation agencies on the
Internet. Then, meeting other translators, I found ProZ.com and other
translation-related sites. I started to quote, and I was never chosen for any
job. After a few months, my first job appeared for a Brazilian agency. Finally!
Since then, I never stopped getting more clients and have become a full-time
translator.

As
a translator, I had the opportunity to work from anywhere with just my notebook
and Internet access.

It
has been more than 06 years and 10 million words translated and revised, acting
as a full-time freelance paid translator. I am thrilled, and I want to be able
to continue doing this.
