My name is Ana Gutiérrez González. I am a qualified translator with a Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpreting, awarded by the University of Granada (Spain). Furthermore, I am an English Sworn Translator, authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, so I can do sworn translations from English into Spanish and vice versa. In 2014, after finishing the degree, I completed a Master's degree in Dubbing, Translation and Subtitling (European University of Madrid) and, one year later, a Master's Degree in Medical and Healthcare Translation.

I have always combined the academic training with my freelance translation and proofreading career, which I started in 2013, shortly after graduating from university. From that moment on, I have regularly collaborated with translation agencies, individuals and companies. I have worked for the Chamber of Commerce, the City Council of Girona, the University of Seville, companies such as Zurich Seguros, COMPAREX España, Iturri, Formacompany Worldwide Incorporations, Central Management Committee (CMC) on Medical Devices or Group El Fuerte, and translation agencies such as Tick Translations, Signe Words or Grupo Nembot & Kimani Publishing, among others.

In the audiovisual field, I have been in charge of the translation and proofreading of documentary scripts at SDI Media and the drafting of audio description scripts in Aristia Producciones y Espectáculos.

Finally, I have worked for six months as an in-house translator in CBLingua, a translation agency specialising in sworn translation of every type of documents.

Regarding my skills, I may say that I am hard working and decisive person with excellent interpersonal skills and an excellent ability to find solutions. I work with an absolute commitment to reach high levels of quality.
