Master's degree - in Specialised Translation, 2018 (University of Westminster) / Diploma in Translation, 2013 (English to French and Spanish to French), Chartered Institute of Linguists Educational Trust
Experiencia
Años de experiencia: 12 Registrado en ProZ.com: Feb 2013
While pursuing a career in education, I gradually trained as a translator going back
to my main interests: Languages and Science. I started to work as a scientific
translator in 2013 after gaining the Diploma in Translation, following which I
specialised further with the MA in Specialised Translation passed with Distinction (2018).
Taking responsibility for students education/safety and working towards a curriculum
or translation brief strongly shaped a highly reliable professional approach,
particularly in terms of deadlines, results and autonomy. Likewise, the
sometimes challenging task of interacting with parents and clients helped me
develop efficient communication skills, staying professional at all times.
Finally, my academic background combined with a sound knowledge of the
translation industry and an ability/willingness to research the most intricate
subjects ensure my customers get a high quality end-product tailored to the
needs of their own industry.
Feedback from clients and colleagues:
"Great translator; would work with again!"
"Cendrine has to be your best asset when it comes to French transcriptions. There were very few mistakes and they were well hidden!!!"
"Excellent translation, Cendrine. It needed a lot of care and attention, and you did it beautifully! Really good!"
"We do need people like you, who take the time to check and research"
