Aunque esto masque aislamiento es «¡aislotamiento!» Y si el señor Solórzano ponía tanto acento en el «tener que» era porque lo menguado de su patrimonio le exigía vivir arraigado en él, cuidándolo por sí mismo.

And if Mr. Solórzano put such an emphasis on the "have to,” it was because he felt his short heritage made him rooted in it, leaving him as the only one to take care of it.
