Impact Assessment, manuals for electronic equipment,
evaluation of projects for investment, tariff items, manuals for
various industries. AUTOMOBILES: complete sets of
workshop manuals (SGML marked-up text). Legal: various
contracts. HUMANINITIES: Lessons of a correspondence
course, several articles. MARKETING: Reports,
presentations, web-pages.

SOFTWARE:I mainly work with Word 97, but I also have the
rest of the programs in the MS Office 97 group and the Adobe
Pack group, Harvard Graphics 3, AutoCAD 2000. -

CAPACITY: My throughput is 2500 words/day, Sometimes, I
use the services of fellow translators whose abilities and
background I know, so I am able to ascertain the quality of
output and to deal with major projects. Together, we have
been able to give very good results with up to 500 000 words
per month. Nevertheless, in these cases I am in close contact
with my fellow translators and I perform a revision of their
work in order to assure quality and homogeneity.

I am a native Spanish-speaking translator with the personal trait of having interests and experience in several
fields, from science, technology and automobiles to music, Tai Chi and psychology. Among other activities, I
have been the head of the Quality Control Department in the Pharmaceutical Division of Ex-Ciba Geigy (Now
Novartis) and an independent entrepreneur. This enables me to have a rather deep understanding of a wide
range of documents and to provide knowledgeable translations.
