Hello! I'm
Elsa Libardi, a passionate translator and editor with over 7 years of
experience. I hold a C2 proficiency level in English and Spanish as my mother
tongue.

Throughout my career, I've worked on various translation projects, ranging from
clinical trials and healthcare to engineering and marketing materials. I've
also delved into subtitling, and literary translation. My commitment to
excellence means I meticulously proofread and edit translated texts to ensure
top-notch quality and compliance with glossaries and style guides.

In addition to my translation expertise, I have a strong background in project
coordination and management. In my previous role at SERMO in Barcelona, Spain,
I supported Project Managers in quantitative projects, handling tasks such as
setting up projects, supporting data collection, and preparing reports.
Nowadays I work as a Compliance Associate supporting the company’s efforts in
maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.

My academic journey includes postgraduate studies in Medical and Pharmaceutical
Translation, as well as courses in Translation Project Management, and
audiovisual translation. I also participated recently in a literary seminar dictated
by the U.N.R. and the University of
Bologna. These educational experiences have equipped me with the skills
necessary to excel in the field of translation and localization.

With proficiency in CAT tools like MemoQ and Memsource, along with a strong
command of bug fixing platforms like Jira, I am well-equipped to handle diverse
translation projects efficiently and accurately. My dedication to continuous
learning and professional development ensures that I stay abreast of industry
trends and best practices.
