2.7.4 Indemnity. You agree to hold Adobe and any applicable CD Service Provider (except as expressly provided in its Issuer Statement) harmless from any and all liabilities, losses, actions, damages, or claims (including all reasonable expenses, costs, and attorneys fees) arising out of or relating to any use of, or reliance on, any CD Service, including, without limitation (a) reliance on an expired or revoked certificate; (b) improper verification of a certificate; (c) use of a certificate other than as permitted by any applicable Issuer Statement, this Agreement or applicable law; (d) failure to exercise reasonable judgment under the circumstances in relying on the CD Services; or (e) failure to perform any of the obligations as required in an applicable Issuer Statement.
2.7.5 Limit of Liability. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ADOBE OR ANY CD SERVICE PROVIDER (EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN ITS ISSUER STATEMENT) BE LIABLE TO YOU, OR ANY OTHER PERSON OR ENTITY, FOR ANY LOSS OF USE, REVENUE OR PROFIT, LOST OR DAMAGED DATA, OR OTHER COMMERCIAL OR ECONOMIC LOSS OR FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, STATUTORY, PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER RELATED TO YOUR USE OR RELIANCE UPON CD SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR IF SUCH DAMAGES ARE FORESEEABLE. WHAT IS LOVASTATIN?
Lovastatin is a 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase inhibitor, or ÒstatinÓ. Lovastatin helps to lower cholesterol levels.
HOW DOES LOVASTATIN LOWER CHOLESTEROL?
Lovastatin works by blocking HMG-CoA, an enzyme that is needed by the body to make cholesterol. There are two types of cholesterol that you should know about: LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C), also known as “bad” cholesterol, and HDL-cholesterol (HDL-C) which is sometimes called “good” cholesterol. Lovastatin can lower LDL-C and raise HDL-C.
HOW DO I STORE THIS MEDICATION?
• Keep this medication out of the reach of children and away from heat and direct light.
• Do not refrigerate or freeze this medication.
• Do not keep this medication in the bathroom or other damp places. Heat and moisture may cause lovastatin to lose its effectiveness.
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THIS MEDICATION?
Certain things may increase the risk of a rare but serious adverse reaction called myopathy, which can cause muscle pain, weakness, aches and cramping. Before taking lovastatin, be sure to tell your doctor if you are taking any of the following:
- itraconazole
- ketoconazole
- erythromycin
- clarithromycin
- HIV protease inhibitors
- nefazodone
- large quantities of grapefruit juice (more than one quart daily)
- cyclosporine
- gemfibrozil
- fenofibrate
- niacin (nicotinic acid, more than one gram daily)
Also, be sure to check with your doctor as soon as possible if you notice any of the following side effects:
- muscle aches/pains/weakness
- fever
- severe abdominal pain
More common side effects that usually do not need medical attention include constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, gas, headaches, heartburn, nausea, skin rash and stomach pain.
Continue to see your doctor on a regular basis while taking lovastatin. This will allow your doctor to monitor your cholesterol levels and watch for serious side effects.
