Bio
I graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor's degree in Translation and became a Member of the Sworn
Translators Association of the City of Buenos Aires (CTPCBA). I started out working for a local translation company where I occupied in-house
positions, first, as a junior translator, then as a senior translator and
finally, I was promoted to Head of the
Biosciences Department. This intensive initial training helped
me to acquire full command of CAT Tools and to specialize in the fields of in Healthcare, Biotechnology and Pharmaceuticals.
In
2009, I started a freelance career
working for many translation agencies and a wide variety of companies covering several
industries.
Since 2016 I have been working for CONICET's Patents Office, the main organization in charge of the promotion of
Science and Technology in Argentina.
My extensive freelance work has allowed me to work with different teams in very fast-paced working environments and develop my skills in diverse fields, specializing in the translation of medical texts.
