Domingo Alberto Trassens, an US citizen born in Argentina, is a bilingual professional with a deep appreciation for economy, marketing and technology, and extensive skills in education, writing, data analysis and information systems.
He began writing small stories and essays in Spanish language when he was a teenager, participating in literary groups to read books and debate about famous authors as Jorge Luis Borges. At the age of 19, he exchanged letters with Don Ramon Menendez Pidal, in that moment President of the Real Academia Española, about the Mio Cid poems.
He published thousands of articles and columns about the technology influence in the world, and the businesses of the technology, both published in different paper and online publications of United States, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay and other countries.
From the other side, since very young, as analyst, he always worked to build “bridges” among technology companies, business users and academic institutions.
During more than twenty five years, he deployed a rich academic activity as university professor of University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, (1975-1996) and through other academic institutions of South America.
In 1995-1996, he moved to U.S., leaving Argentina for political reasons. (in total disagreement with government institutions after refusing non-ethical deals).
In 1996, INFOCOM Argentina honored him with the award of the “Best Technology Journalist” for his contributions across Latin America to promote new ideas in companies and professional institutions.
